## About Aqua Magic Mamaia

Aqua Magic is the water park of Mamaia resort. It opened in 2003 at the southern entrance to the resort, on Mamaia Boulevard, between the road and the shore of Lake Siutghiol. It covers 27,500 square metres and brings together pools, slides, a lazy river and relaxation areas, with terraces and bars dotted among them.

The park has something for every age: Waterplayground and a baby pool for the little ones, the Lazy River for those who just want to float, and, for adrenaline, a row of slides with names like Kamikaze, Black Hole, Twister, Space Bowl and Mega Pipe. The cable car that crosses the resort passes above the park, so the pools and slides can be seen from above.

### What you can see

The Lazy River is an artificial river 360 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1.3 metres deep, which loops around the park and links the pools together; it is used only on special rings. The slides are divided by age and height: from Multislide and River Ride, allowed from 6 years and 120 cm, to Side Winder, which requires a minimum of 8 years and 140 cm, and the adrenaline slides such as Kamikaze, Twister, Mega Pipe and Space Bowl, closed to under-10s.

For rest there are the Relax Pool, jacuzzi pools with room for seven people each, oriental-style canopies and the water bar, with seats under the water. Shows and competitions with prizes are held in the park every day.

### Good to know

Aqua Magic is a summer park, with separate hours for the pools and for the slides. The slides can be stopped in bad weather, with wind, thunder or lightning. Food and drinks bought outside the park are not allowed in.

## Don't miss
