# Tourist attractions in Vaslui County

Vaslui County spreads over the hills between the Bârlad and the Prut, in eastern Moldavia, with vineyards at Huși and villages scattered across the slopes. Vaslui, Bârlad and Huși are its towns: near Vaslui, at Podu Înalt, Stephen the Great won his battle against the Ottomans in 1475, remembered today by a monument; Bârlad has the Vasile Pârvan Museum and the Public Garden; Huși has its bishopric and its wines.
