## About Dinosaur World Transylvania

Dinosaur World Transylvania is a family theme park between Sânpetru and Sibișel, in the commune of Râu de Mori, Hunedoara County. Opened in August 2021, it combines a trail of prehistoric animal replicas with playgrounds and an animal farm on more than six hectares at the foot of the Retezat Mountains.

The park's theme draws on palaeontological discoveries in the Hațeg area. This is a leisure visit: the trail displays reproductions, including Balaur bondoc and dinosaur eggs. Children can climb on some of the replicas, combining the walk with play.

### What you can see

The **dinosaur trail** passes reproductions of species from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Play areas have swings, wooden obstacles, games of skill and sand areas for discovering fossils. Leisure activities include a little train, zip lines, treetop courses and minigolf.

The farm offers a change of pace: American bison, alpacas, fallow deer, ponies, donkeys, ostriches and other domestic animals can be seen here. Horse rides are accompanied. There are relaxation areas and a restaurant serving traditional dishes for breaks.
