## What to do in Bucharest when it rains

When it rains, Bucharest has the most large museums in the country, many near the metro: the Royal Palace (National Museum of Art) for half a day, the Antipa Museum and the Peasant Museum at Victoriei Square, the Treasury at the History Museum, the Technical Museum. The Palace of the Parliament tour and Cotroceni Palace are indoors too. On Mondays and Tuesdays, when most museums are closed, the Palace of the Parliament, the churches and Therme stay open, with Therme open daily and its pools under a dome.

The Village Museum, Herăstrău and the Botanical Garden are outdoors: keep them for a day with good weather.
