## About Zănoaga Ski Slope (Brava Park)

The Zănoaga slope is the ski area in the Valea Porții valley, ~4.5 km from [Bran Castle](https://peplaiuri.ro/en/castelul-bran), between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains. The area opened in December 2012 on land provided by the Bran town hall, and today it runs as Brava Park; in searches and on maps it is also found as Zănoaga or "the Bran slope". It has no connection with [Lake Zănoaga](https://peplaiuri.ro/en/lacul-zanoaga) in the Retezat mountains.

In winter, Brava Park is a small-scale ski area, suited to a day out with children or to first runs on skis or a snowboard. In summer, the same drag lifts take cyclists to the top for the bike park trails.

### What you can see

The area has three ski slopes, each with its own drag lift: the Subteleferic slope, 635 m long, and the Clincea slope, 652 m, both of medium difficulty, and the Junior slope, 300 m, for beginners. Next to them is a 150 m sledging and tubing lane with a conveyor belt for the climb. At the foot of the slopes there are a ticket office, a restaurant, an equipment rental point and toilets.

In summer, the six bike park trails, from 300 m to 3.2 km, run down the same hillside; they are rated very easy, easy and medium, so they also suit anyone just trying downhill for the first time. Riders go up on the drag lift, while e-bikes climb on their own, on their own trails.

### Good to know

In winter, the slopes open depending on snow and cold, so it is worth phoning before the trip. The bike park is open from May to October, on weekends, also on Fridays in July, and daily in August.

## Don't miss

- A first run down the 300 m Junior slope, with its own drag lift, for beginners.
- The Subteleferic and Clincea slopes, over 600 m each, for skiers who already keep their balance on skis.
- A 150 m sledging and tubing lane, with a conveyor belt for the climb.
- In summer, a bike park with six trails, from 300 m to 3.2 km, and a drag lift ride up.
- A day on the slopes combined with a visit to Bran Castle, ~4.5 km away.
