Publishing guidelines

Pe Plaiuri is built together with its visitors: your photos and reviews help others decide where to go and what to expect. To keep it useful for everyone, here is what we publish and what we don't. The full version, with rights and obligations, is in the terms and conditions.

Photos

What we are looking for

  • Taken by you, at that place. Your name appears under every photo and leads to your photographer page.
  • Sharp and bright, with the place as the main subject — the building, the landscape, the interior, the detail that impressed you.
  • As large as possible: the original from your phone or camera, not a screenshot or a photo forwarded over chat.
  • Natural: no text, watermarks, frames, collages or heavy filters. A light or colour correction is fine.
  • Recent, where possible: a photo from last year says more than one from ten years ago.

What we reject

  • Photos that don't show the place, or show a different one.
  • Blurry, too dark or too small photos.
  • Photos with text, watermarks, frames or strong filters.
  • Photos with people in the foreground, especially children. Small figures in a landscape are fine; portraits are not, even of yourself.
  • Photos very similar to ones already published.
  • Photos that don't seem to be yours: taken from the internet, from other photographers, from brochures or official websites. Not even if they are “free”, not even with the author's consent — on the site you publish only your own photos.
  • Inappropriate content: vulgar, violent, or carrying political or commercial messages.

When we reject a photo, we tell you the reason in your account. You can send up to 5 photos at a time and 30 per day, of at most 15 MB each. The steps to your first photo are at how to add photos.

Your rights

Your photos remain yours: you don't publish them under an open licence and nobody may copy them from the site without your permission. You only give us the right to show them on Pe Plaiuri and in the material we use to present the site, always with your name. You can delete them from your account at any time. Details in section 3 of the terms.

Ratings, reviews and comments

  • Write about your own experience. You were there — say how it was: what you liked, what disappointed you, what others should know before they come.
  • Be specific. “Parking is 1 km away and costs 10 lei” helps more than “it was nice”.
  • Be fair. A low rating is fine if deserved; don't rate to help or harm someone, don't write reviews to order or for places you work at.
  • No insults and no personal data — don't name staff, don't publish phone numbers, licence plates or other people's details.
  • No advertising — not for your guesthouse, not for tours, not for other websites.

Reviews appear immediately and we read them as we go; we may hide those that don't follow the rules above.

Your photographer profile

  • The name can be your real one or a pen name, but not someone else's and not a misleading one.
  • The profile picture is of you, not of another person and not a protected image.
  • Links lead to your own pages (website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X), not to shops, adverts or inappropriate content.

If you see a problem

  • A photo or profile that breaks the rules: tap Report next to it. We don't tell the author who reported it.
  • A photo of yours published by someone else, or any content that infringes your rights: write to us with the link and a short explanation; we take it down while we sort it out.

Accounts that break the rules repeatedly are blocked: they can no longer publish, and their public page disappears.
